BY JEFFREY H. WAUGH VEY faculty, and the legal profession, we've decided to move away from a ranking-based report to a law school review format. After reaching out through our weekly e-newsletter, the Canadian Legal Newswire, the Ca- nadian Lawyer web site, and to the schools themselves, responses were gathered from more than 1,200 law school students and alumni from across the country regarding the best features their school has to offer. The top three features of each school as chosen by survey respondents is featured in each school's section. We hope the information will prove to be a valuable source of reference by giving some of the top strengths of each school. This year's review covers 15 of the country's W law schools, focusing primarily on those that offer common law degrees. Due to a lack of re- sponse from students and alumni, and a lack of information from the schools, we've been unable to include a review of the Université de Moncton, as well as four of the institutions offering degrees in civil law — Université de Montréal, Université du Québec à Montréal, Université de Sherbrooke, and Université Laval. e're doing things a bit differently for this year's edition of the annual Canadian Lawyer Law School Survey.
