In addition to disclosing the number of women on boards of directors and in senior management positions, companies will have to provide information about Aboriginal people, persons with disabilities and visible minorities. The changes result from Bill C-25, which amended several acts in addition to the CBCA, receiving royal assent on May 1, 2018. During the American Bar Association's antitrust law section in July, Boswell told Kwinter the bureau will also be looking more deeply at efficiencies in defence and privilege claims. "It would be helpful if the bureau could provide earlier and more detailed thinking," says Kwinter. No two businesses are alike. We get that.
