LAW IN YOUR LIFE AT THE CNE
Last summer, The Action Group on Access to Justice (TAG) coordinated an access to justice booth at
the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) in Toronto. We asked visitors from across Southern Ontario
about law in their life. Here is what we learned.
The Action Group on Access to Justice (TAG) facilitates collaboration among institutional, political
and community stakeholders to address access to justice challenges in Ontario. Together with
our partners, we are working on a range of initiatives including increasing uptake of limited
scope retainers, developing resources for trusted intermediaries, implementing digital family law
resources, helping licensees manage their mental health challenges and addressing the over-
representation of Aboriginal children and youth in care. TAG is funded by the Law Foundation of
Ontario with support from the Law Society of Upper Canada.
