On March 15, 2016, we invite you to join us for a continuing professional development program
that will address professional responsibility and ethics for lawyers in the context of ongoing access
to justice challenges in Ontario. e program will examine some of the barriers faced by many
Ontarians to meaningful participation in the justice system, and introduce skills that lawyers
can build on in approaching client interactions. e session will focus on helping lawyers help
their clients to maintain better "legal health": addressing legal issues in their lives in as timely and
effective a way as possible.

• The Honourable Justice Thomas Cromwell outlining progress on A2J over
the last year and an updated look at ongoing challenges
• A2J experts identifying needs and gaps in response to the challenges
• An exploration of the most complex issues in A2J, with questions and discussion
from leaders in the legal aid system, court services, and the private sector
