MTS Allstream is seeking an experienced lawyer to assist the Chief Legal Officer with his duties and responsibilities, including providing legal support to and management of the company's legal departments in Winnipeg and Toronto from their head office in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This newly created role will report to the Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary of MTS and MTS Allstream. As a manager and a practicing lawyer, the Vice-President, Legal will provide timely, proactive and cost-effective legal advice and services on a wide variety of business and operational matters, compliance, and corporate policies and practices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 to 12 years of corporate/commercial law experience gained from a top tier law firm or in-house legal department. A comprehensive knowledge of the telecom- munications industry and proven leadership skills are definite assets.
