According to the CBABC, allocated seats in law schools for aboriginal students are still not being filled in B.C.'s universities, despite an increase in aboriginal law being taught today. "I think we are on the cusp of change," says Mo- rellato, who says there are more aboriginal lawyers graduating from and entering law schools than 10 years ago. But there remains a strong need for com- munity outreach programs that can promote law as a career to high school students, plus the funding to bridge between undergraduate work and law school. Morellato says CBABC donation forms for the trust can be obtained online. — JS Searching for a cheaper, easier way to attract candidates?
