PROS: + • e 905 area is not oversaturated with fi rms and lawyers, so even though the population is smaller, you can have a healthy-sized practice. • e bar is smaller, so you frequently work with the same lawyers, which can be advantageous because, not only do you build camaraderie, but you can learn each other's styles and tendencies, which is always a boon to the client. • If you're working in a 905 fi rm, you're almost certainly working at a smaller fi rm where the quality of your work is stressed over and beyond the numbers that you bring in. CONS: – • Because of the smaller population, there are certain times of year when work slows down. • ere can be a great deal of travel to surrounding areas and courthouses because the smaller northern areas don't always have a great many legal practitioners, which leads to litigants in those areas hiring from the 905. • It is impossible to work here without a vehicle, as the public transit system is limited, to say the least.
