t was a night to celebrate and learn about the
initiatives and leadership taking place in-house
across the country as the fifth annual Canadian
Lawyer InHouse Innovatio Awards were held
Sept. 20 at the Arcadian Court in Toronto. The
evening was kicked off by an inspiring keynote
address from the Right Honourable David
Johnston, former governor general of Canada and
a former professor of law for more than 30 years.
In total, 16 awards were presented to 14
organizations including some from the public
sector. The winners represented organizations
